Looking for a spot to post my Art work to get hired, is this allowed in CGSociety?

Showing their portfolios is a major part of what people do here, hence the big Portfolio butoon below each avatar. It is usually not considered advertisement.
You might look at Artstaion as well though, it has become the leading site to present CG Artwork https://www.artstation.com/

Hey Steven theres a red upload art button on the upper right. If you need help let me know. We review the gallery daily and now host 2 to 3 professionals weekly that drop in on chats to give free advice. Polycount, artstation and cube brush have galleries as well i recommend to post to in addition
