Hi all, first post for me, fingers crossed someone can help?!
I’m making a short product type film for a jeweler friend. I’ve modeled her jewelry using simple polygon modelling in cinema.
I’m struggling to get inside surfaces of the ring to reflect as I imagine they would in realife. They seem to have linear type irregularities despite the mesh appearing regular or uniform.
I’ve tried the following to alter this with no effect;
- optimizing the mesh
- using a subdivision surface object
- adding a redshift object tag and enabling smooth subdivision in the geometry section
- upping the unified sampling (redshift)
Any additional info would be hugely appreciated!
