iPod advert questioin

I’m recreating the Apple iPod advert for practice purposes. The funky pink colour with the (almost) silhouetted dancer is no problem. However, how do you create the dangling headphone wire in white, was this done later.

I’m doing this in Shake.

There was an article about it (not online anymore unfortunately)…where they said that they shot the people dancing with iPods in their hands, keyed the bluescreen and then painted in the wires later on a Quantel Henry + plus lots of color correction of course. Definitely not one of the easier jobs :wink: .

It’s really easy to do, it just takes a lot of time to do it.

if your actor is wearing black you can probably do it with contrast…
