I find your talent and hardworking sprit disturbing… But results are really perfect…

Warm milk with chocolate may help insomnia…And pyjamas with teddy bears on it…

#143

really awesome linda

#144

This is just excellent work Linda! kudos!

I love the fact that the mirror doesn’t reflect the warm colours outside of it. very clever!

#145

Nice work, you’re very talented.

This is how I set my monitor brightness, it’s a global method that seems to work well on any system.
http://www.aim-dtp.net/aim/calibration/blackpoint/crt_brightness_and_contrast.htm
However you’ll find most people do not set up their monitors properly. In my opinion it is really not worth your time to try to adjust your work to their washed out displays.

I just wish we had as much control over our output as photographers do with theirs…

Hi Linda,

I’ve finally posted a pic-in-progress and, although I’m not big into hero worship, I’m really nervous about writing you this. I think your work has a quality to it that’s just mystifying. every character has a soul. I’ve benefitted greatly from seeing your work… now I’m getting greedy.

basicly I’m wondering if I’m hitting the right technical stages in developing a good painting…
I’m currently at the value study stage, next I intend to do a study for color without worrying much about contrast. then the final painting and adding details. ??? sound right? ???

then the important part — the story is that the giant has escaped and, after ransacking his prison, he chases down the man who was his enslaver. (read: i’m frustrated at work) anyway, that’s what I’m TRYING to convey. I’ve also wound up with a bit of a heaven/hell sky thing going on to sort of set a mood for where he’s been and where he’s going. And I think I’ll revise the column of smoke so it trails off and doesn’t look like an umbilical cord.

thanks again for all the inspirational work,
~B

Heja Linda!!

My girlfriend and I follow your work closelly. I work mostly with 3D design, my girlfriend is a corset tailor… We both are awestruck by all your work, both the artistical and the care you put into clothing and fabric patterns…

But it is the overall mood of your work that always come and use my emotional centre as bongo drums. You have an amazing talent to pull the viewer into the picture and sit there for a long time, studying each and every detail.

On my new, flat ViewSonic it looks warm bronze-orange, and a purple-blue. Really nice art!
I hope that you someday will give us a book, something like-
-Art with Photoshop-Beginners guide.

#153

AMAZING! Thats all I can say.

#154

The colors? They are bronze-orange and purple blue on my well calibrated screen.

Looks good, blood splattering got a bit out of hand it seems - looks a bit like it isn’t on walls etc. but is more like hanging in air

Still, very good work

#155

I love the emotion in this picture!

If U ask me which one did I like more, if Master and Servant’s or this one, I would answer that this one! cause even that the other is technically superior in details, this one is more consistent in mood; I love your dark paintings very much… for me, is your best artist angle!

#159

perfect!workagain.a little bit wild!!.. *all elementsare looking so nice!

Once again, I would only have praises to do on that work. Congratulations.

Do you have some technique, to do the the blood in the wall, to give the necessary consistence "?
