I don´t know if you did this on purpose to add some horror feeling but it seems to me that the wall is tilted in a “wrong” way to the girl. Just a tad bit.

I´m happy you finally did this, cause I was looking at you M&S and didn´t find any work on this, and well, I wanted to see it.
I think you´ve made a good decision on this being out of M&S as the original concept is more interesting and lets you have tons of fun with the technical details. I don´t mean this concept is weak or so, because I don´t mean that at ALL, but nature & humanity just fits better.

btw: I see the painting clearly, maybe a little dark, maybe just a little tiny bit. But I see the dress patterns perfectly and the hues correspond to what you said.

This piece is very impressive. It really shows a lot of emotion. At first I was a bit worried about all of the blood, with the knife, and the mirror, that she was attempting to kill herself. But it looks like she just killed something else and got messy. The picture shows a lot of emotion and the painting is perfect, excellent work.

I see what you are saying about the pattern on the dress and it shows up fine, I have had issues with gamma too, heh, its reassuring to know I am not the only one that has the thoughts that you have shared in this post. Your work looks as you intended it on my screen. Great job.

Well, what can I say? Your artwork is great! I love the blood, it adds another dimension to your artwork and leaves a stronger impact. I also like the way you’ve expressed her inner rage and emotions, which have been reflected in the mirror. It’s literally and metaphorically a reflection of her soul, isn’t it? The sad expression on her face stands in nice contrast to the other faces in the mirror. It may suggest that there’s a deep conflict between her conscious and subconscious self, and that she’s having suicidal tendencies (as underlined by the knife through the mirror). Perhaps she hates her own ‘image’? Not necessarily in only visual terms (ironic, given her good looks), but also on a psychological level. Your choice of clothing is interesting. The sexy nightgown adds a dose of sensuality, which again stands in contrast to the blood and rage in the mirror.

Again, I think your artwork is great. It works on several levels: It’s not only aesthetically beautiful, but it also seem to tell a story. Truly le creme de la creme. Keep those artworks coming :slight_smile:

i’m speechless. Yes it’s too dificult to make well drawn mirror objects, espescialy when it is a human person - it’s too complex plastic shapes, right…here is the same - the girl before and the girl in the mirror is actualy two different persons…that appearing perhaps comes because of the point of view…both of the objects need to have something more in common, and the knife seams to be not sufficient for this purpose…good plastic if places…i think the far shoulder shoud be more above, because of the lifted hand, and about the hand, you are missing something - it stands vey strange behind the head…but it seams you know very well how to make an accent in the picture - my best regards for this…

And I don’t wanna nag but it does seem awefully dark in the bottom right corner. Is it supposed to be that dark, it almost blacks out.

Anyway, I love it, (I was wondering why there weren’t any posts in your M&S thread, obviously here I guess). The faces are especially cool!

Looks like the girl has a manic depression mixed with low selfesteem problem powered by demon influence that leads to suicide of inner self or inner self killing you ending up killing the whole you… ok where am I, I’m lost. :shrug:

I normally don’t reply, just lurking you know. I have to say this piece is just beautiful. I agree the faces within the mirror are extremely unnerving, thereby very effective. I am moved to speak of the detail within the piece, but it’s feeling is what really affects me. The dress is exquisite. The glass, the faces, everything… just beautiful.
