Hello. I have an animated Alembic file derived from a Bifrost simulation. The frame rate of the Alembic is 24fps, but I want to double it for a cleaner slow motion sequence in post. The problem is that if I change the scene frame rate, the Alembic file adjusts to the new rate, but the animation isn’t interpolated and looks choppy. When the time gets stretched in post, the rest of the scene looks smooth, but the Alembic only changes every other frame or so. Is there a way to smooth out the Alembic animation when the scene frame rate is increased?
If it is a bifrost simulation mesh, it will change topology every frame what means that you cannot interpolate it. If you need another framerate, you will need a new simulation.
