Internships Working Holiday New Zealand

Hi guys,
I´m planning a working holiday in new zealand. Because I want to learn/study 3D (VFX) I´m searching for internship opportunities. Do you know if it is possible to get an intern without any schooling, if I´m a foreigner? And if thats the case, where shouls I look for? Would be great to use this time for preparation.
