Work within the established technical specifications and process to analyze and design the layout and architecture for a user friendly experience. Create U.I. and HUD mockups, interactive presentations, and production artwork as well as problem solve for multiple platform types.
Responsibilities:
-Create and maintain the look and feel of game UI/HUD.
-Work with the Art Director to establish the vision of the UI/HUD by pushing to achieve the highest quality possible within the technical limitations.
Requirements:
-Possess a strong graphics design background, web design experience a plus.
-Be able to conceptualize, present and execute ideas within a tight schedule.
-Proficiency in using 2D image applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash), knowledge of 3d applications (Maya or 3DS Max) a plus.
-Strong artistic, verbal and written communication skills.
-Extensive knowledge of games in all genres across all platforms.
-Strong interpersonal skills-able to interact with team members of different disciplines.
-Able to follow direction, process artistic and technical feedback, in order to create unique design solutions.
-PC or console game experience, relevant undergraduate degree and/or equivalent experience preferred.
-Deep passion for games as a craft.
-Good positive attitude and outlook.
