Interested in animation?

I’m starting up new website/forum focussed enitirely on animation. This is in NO WAY competing with cgsociety, that’s not my intention at all. happysack.org is my new website for all things related to animation specifically, things like acting, weight, motion, you name it. 2D, 3D, stop motion, if you can make it move, that’s what we’re about.

Come on over and check it out, see if you might be interested. Long term I’m going to be starting some simple entry level training and workshops, micro challenges (again, not in competition with cgsociety), and conversation and help on things specific to animation, acting, weighting, that kind of thing.

With a bit of help from the community, i think it could become an invaluable resource alongside cgsociety.

Sounds cool, I’ve signed up. I have actually incorporated the “mini challenges” into my senior project, so I’ll hopefully have at least one or two, possibly as many as 5 good acting peices on my graduation reel. If this forum ever gets back into hosting animation sessions again, I’ll try to do the same with them.
