Inset Region?

Hi,

I noticed in Wings there are two type of extrude commands.

Extrude and Extrude Region, where extrude extrudes all the selected polygons individually while Extrude Region exrudes all the selected polygons as a group.

Can this be done with the inset command?

No for inset u must delete the edge to create only one face ! :slight_smile:

No tool - but this might be of interest / use?

(Under certain circumstances, Face | Intrude (use dissolve after to form a single face) is also useful - with a bit of minor tidying after)

NB - imo, performance of these cludges has improved since this page was originally written, because Bj has improved the basic tools used - also, bump now allows you to use ‘tab’ input option to enter stuff other than the ‘step’ sizes given via +/- keys. :slight_smile:
