i’m a Maya user quite a few years and i need some help on something i’m trying to do. 
My problem is quite simple…
What i have:
- A very large polyGeometry with planar Uvs (0->1 uv range) projected from the top and a 8K layered Psd texture as diffuse color. (source)
- A duplicate of the polyGeometry with unfolded Uvs(0->1 ) where i need to transfer the texture from the first geom. (target)
Using transfer maps i can only export a 4K texture and i’m losing valuable colour information. So i decided to increase the uv range of the the target mesh from 0,1 to -1,1 but i can’t find a way to transfer a map with normal range uvs to multi tile uvs…
Is there any way to transfer an 8K texture between uv sets?
