    Here's a character i'm working on modeling and i'm looking for some feedback on Topology, Anatomy and basically everything.  This is my first human, and i want to make sure its anatomy is right.  
       
       The Character is mainly referanced from Tidus as you can tell from the concept, but i also wanted to make him more unique.  I'll be using "shave and cut" for hair later.

cool head. in the sketch the arms look a little wonky, i’d suggest maybe GIS “arm anatomy” or something to help make the curves of the muscles look more natural. also the shoulder width may be a little wide… looks like you’re off to a good start though, post updates!

I usually spend like 2 solid days modeling a week, but lately i’ve been spending more time. I’ll post some updates on the porportions and try to get the hands done soon.

Heres an updated mesh, could you guys please critique any issues you see or porportion problems. i’m gonna start UV’s tomarrow so as soon as i’m done with the hand and a few more details i’ll start UVs.

he kinda needs to be a tad taller. like 8 heads tall (currently it seems u have 7.7).

i got no time now, but i’ll get to u as soon as i get back.

the arms seem a tad short

Do you think i should lengthen his arms in the forearm? They seem the shortest there. I’m also gonna rework his toes, make him a bit wider in the waist, and reduce the bags under his eyes, fixed his neck, smooth out a few places in his face, and make his palm a bit less flat.

Anyone else have any ideas?

Also does anyone know if i should rotate his palms down? would this make it easier to rig and animate?

Well done. There’s definite improvement throughout your thread!

You’ve got some problems:
-The arms are not straight (not talking about pose), the forearm is actually bending down, when if anything it should cock up a little in the opposite direction (though that’s more of a female characteristic)
-I’ve got no idea where the knees are, but I think they might be too high based on earlier shots

Here’s a pic of where the middle of the knee is currently. I also checked my own arm in the bathroom and noticed that it does bend up a bit, thanks for pointing that out.

In that case, the lower leg is a little bit too long in comparison. It should be shorter than the upper leg. And since the legs seem roughly correct in length, just move the knees down.

I’ve taken sometime off from this project because of finals at school, but i’m getting back into and since my last post i’ve redone the Textures, Hair, Eyes, Shading Network, Rigging, Lighting, and a few other things.
