Importing .obj file into Poser 6 from 3DS Max

#1

Hello there ! Kindly let us know how after importing .obj file created in 3DS Max to Poser 6, we can select the object body parts ( e.g mouth - opeining it, wings, body etc.) individually to rig it and how we can render the total figure and animate it in Poser.

What is shortcut procedure kindly let me know.

Thanx

Kindly let us know why this is in the Wings3D forum?

That said, first you have to start by defining the groups properly in 3dsmax BEFORE you export to OBJ. OBJ will repect max’s object names.

After that, I’ve never touched Poser, so I will defer that end to someone else, but I have a educated guess that there is no “shortcut”, but simply a lot of “grunt” work ahead of you.
