Importing meshes into a single group

hello! Can I import meshes, so they are in a single group, rather than each mesh in a separate group?

I believe you have to check the “Import as static mesh” option.

It doesn’t seem to help, though thank you for your reply. It still creates groups with each group having directional light and camera, and empty mesh item.

Well, you also have the second option “Import Groups as Separate Meshes”. If that also don’t give you the result you’re looking for, I’m afraid you’re out of luck then.

How much groups you get after the import depends on how this object was created, I think.
But normally you have to cleanup the model anyway, so moving some mesh objects into a single group beforehand shouldn’t be that time consuming (you can use the filter) comparing to the overall cleanup.
