I have a folder of a few hundred images, and I’d like to make an image hose in Photoshop. I’d like to scatter them around in a semi random pattern. One approach is to create an action, copy and pasting, adding a drop shadow, then do a batch.
But I’d like to choose that folder and make a brush that sprays all those images (only once for each image) as I see fit.
Illustrator can do this, but they have to be vectors, and you have to add them manually.
Any tips on the best way to do this?
I’m open to using a 3D program and image based particles, but have not found one to do it.
