Hello. I’m making a scene which has lots of objects and textures. I have a weird problem. When i imported images for object textures, outliner window elements reached and exceeded its max. visible vertical border. I have to drag an image to material but material is out of sight in outliner window and i couldn’t scroll window when i was dragging. Is there any key for that ? I’m stuck please help. I have to finish this project in Wings3d.
I'm stuck with outliner window, please help
Hi.
I dont know how to scroll the window while dragging a texture, but you can try something that might help:
Go to Edit | Preferences, click the User Interface Tag, then uncheck Objects in outliner.
Press ok and close and open the Outliner again for the changes to take effect.
This way the Outliner doesnt show objects wich might be enough for you to be able to see all the materials at once.
Best regards.
Thanks but i don’t have a problem with objects. Wish ‘hide textures’ option was available. So, in Wings3d, we can import max. 11 textures. I should remember this on my next project
if you select the image and right click there is an option that says “pick up image” this is the command style of drag and drop.
once you’ve done that, you can scroll down to your material select it and use the “drop picked object” command.

i would recommend that if you have something like bryce or another program ment for rendering large scences, put your scene together in that prog. rather than in wings.
