Idea for future challenge: Iconic Moments in Gaming.
Ya I think many new peoples would join that one. But by Iconic moment you mean like Pong creation or like Killer Game Mario Bros on NES or when a special character die in a cinematic of a specific game?
Ok so yo uare from my generation.
Imagine doing a representation of how the
SPACE INVADERS actually look like?

Or how the Riders of JOUST look like?

Of the Characters from Dragos lair? http://www.bing.com/images/search?q=dragon's%20Lair%20%20%20video%20game&qs=n&form=QBIR&pq=dragon's%20lair%20video%20game&sc=5-24&sp=-1&sk=
For older generation they could do the character from Final Fantasy…
Joust… a man lol
But you should wait a bit to ask for possible next challenge, that Soldier challenge just started
Don’t tempt me with something else
I like the idea but should we restrict to original video game creations? There are a lot of licensed properties that are turned into video games - granted many of them have provided iconic moments - but I think that restricting it to original video games will make it better so as people don’t rely too much on the licensed properties.
And would we stay retro? And if retro, what’s the decade cut-off point? 80s? 90s? mid-90s? Or just video games from any era?
Well, look at any of the original arcade cabinets. The cabinet artwork rarely reflected the in-game graphics. That would be one way to visualize retro characters.
As for iconic moments: Aerith and Sephiroth, Link claiming the master sword or any boss fight… ever!
