Hi all, my last mattepainting.

Front part is nice, I like it. But the mountains in the rear, especially the left side, look flat, a bit like a cutout. Maybe re-think how they would be lit based on the lighting you have.

looks too sketchy and too fantasy , you need to work more on sharper reflections and refractions to sell the illusion that this is made out of crystal, highlights can be very helpful as well, that inner red light could be refracted in some way that can help you with the shape of the entire structure, the foreground and the bottom part of the image is undetailed and you need to work more on that in order to make it believable, also you need something that tell the viewer the scale of this structure, work with some human reference structures as windows, bridges , etc to make the viewer understand better how big is this

This is just a personal taste issue really but i’m not keen on the sky/space/galaxy bg whatever you want to call it, it feels a bit overblown like you’d see on the front cover of a cheesy sci-fi novel.

However i think the castle itself looks cool, good job
