Hi,

I’m doing some tests with image based lighting. I put an HDRI file in the environment slot as mentioned in this tutorial: MS House

But I get some weird effect, it’s like if I can see the HDRI file in the background through my models. In thisscreenshot we can clearly see the cut to black from the HDRI on the ground.

I also have one direct light in the scene, anyone knows why it’s doing this?

You probably need to use spherical mapping for the HDRI rather than screen.

Better indeed, the texture stretches a bit since it’s a plain texture and not a spherical map, but I can comp it later.

if you create a vraylight set it to dome mode and put a spherical hdri in its texture slot, you’ll get much much much better results
