I need HElP on a game that i pretend to make..

I Have this project in mind that i whant to realize by the end of the year
Well… My idea is to make a game sort of like gta vice city… but instead of people they are worms… they are gonna be realy gangsta… and they are gonna interact like they are humans… i pretend to make it in 3ds max… but i only know how to make the design and not the programation… i just whanna know if i lost my mind or if it is possible… i also whant an opinion if you guys think that 3dsmax is the best platform to make this game… i Am opend for [color=darkred]tutorials on programing tips and also game development… if anyone can help me plz dooo…[/color]
