#11

Can you share a front and side view… I think your general shape is good but can be improved.

#12

You’re right but I can’t see where to make improvements, face is little weird…

#13

Thanks for sharing. But I though you will share more close up of the face. But that body orthographic views share was also useful

Few critics for me for you for the new year ahah:

  • Fix the eyes, they are not close enough and big enough (not at the right position in depth also)

  • Fix the wings: they are too wide.

  • His mouth go way deeper then what you currently have.

Are you trying for a likeness in that case base your scale texture that can be found on some big closeup of toothless heads.

#14

Useful screengrab in good quality you could use for a front and side view

#15

Thank you so much.

I’ll try to fix those issues as best as I can, making deep changes at this stage is pretty difficult

#16

sorry to say but sometime you need to restart thing like from scratch. In your case is just come back to modeling stage destroying the uv you have and the texture you didf so far.

Modeling is the base of every 3d model. If you keep refine it one day a simple grey shader model can look alike. no need of texture.

Any way with Zbruhs you wont need UV for start. You can sculpt your scales and UV import after.

#17

Better proporton, I hope =)

#18

Oh yes I find the side view nice and you have improve a loty. But You should always share front/side/3quart view so we can better judge your work.

Is there a reason why you don’t export a render of it? You waste a lot of space in your img just to share 1/4 of it really.

#19

sorry, I’m not so expert with zbrush =)
thank you for your advices =)

#20

An other tip will be to change your Background to a 50% grey… since toothless is black we lose the silhouette with that gradient black to grey.

#21

From the front view, I can see you need to scale a bit the eyes and move it closer. Here’s a quick fix. All based on the size of the head

#22

thank you so much =)
