How would you recreate this?

Any software, but photoshop would be ideal…
I have t make it billboard size…and Im kinda stumped. It seems so simple…I feel as if it was some cheesy filter or plug in…but I cant remember what. Any suggestion will help.

This is REALLY the wrong place for this. Anyway, it looks like someone just used the polar coordinates filter on a series of lines that were duplicated four times across the canvas then just multiplied the result over a rose color background layer.

radial blur?

Ummm…thanks…

If I may be so bold…where else would you post this. Since this is a “general discussion forum” seems like a good fit to me.

Ummm … the Photoshop forum?

Well sorry guys…didnt realise it was soooooo important. Wasnt quite sure I only had photoshop as an option to do this. Its always nice to come to this site and be so promptly corrected.

I thought the question was perfectly appropriate. In fact, it was for that type of question, texturing, effects and matte painting using PS, that I joined this forum. I am now looking for another forum.

I guess I will try this one:
http://forums.cgsociety.org/forumdisplay.php?f=46
But it seems less appropriate for that kind of question.

Do you mean the adobe.com forum?

start with this: the image is obviously symmetrical both horizontally, and vertically. so it was duplicated and flipped. i guess render clouds, then render fibers. finally, radial blur in zoom mode.
