How to use Max6 Mentalray final gather"use file"setting
what kinds of file should i use in this setting,"use file"under the final gather in max6 Mentalray
it doesn’t like photon map,it has a way to save file,so it is natural to load photon map files,but final gather "use file"to load from Where?and where to save
As I understand it you can use the Final Gather “Use File” option to both save and re-load your FG calculations. Check on Rebuild to create, and select a file by pressing the three dots next to Use File. CHeck on Use File and render. Next time you render turn off Rebuild and your render should be faster.

Rebuild Unchecked -> Take FG from Use File
