No, A:M has this. I don’t know a huge amount about it, but it’s called Radiosity. I may be speaking about the wrong thing, but I’m quite sure that what you’re looking for already exists.

Not sure how well I’m referencing what was said, but in a chat Martin had indicated development on the renderer as being static – except for HDR.

So… hoping it will appear in the next version.
