My question is how do I use Gloss maps when I don’t have a specific shader input for Gloss? So this wouldn’t be for a renderer like Maya, Max, Marmoset, etc…but I do have access to shader nodes like add, subtract, multiply, ramp, etc.
Can someone please explain to me how to setup a gloss map with the shader nodes I have available or would I be blending maps (spec and gloss) together inside of Photoshop to create a map that could be used in the Specular channel?
