I have a character animation which I want to rotate, so I select the root bone and rotate it with auto key mode off, so the entire animation rotates. The problem is the root node animation now moves in the wrong direction. The animation is of a guy stumbling forward. After Rotating him he now stumbles sideways instead of forward. Is there anyway to rotate the movement in agreement with the orientation?
- rotate camera instead ?
- link root bone to some dummy, rotate dummy ?
What are you animating him with CAT, Biped or Bones ?
Both Cat & Biped have in build methods to do this.
If using Bones you should be able to attach the Root to a helper and rotate that.
