How to navigate viewports in blender ?

I have just switched from 3ds / maya and Blender drives me crazy with such simple things like navigating between viewports. How can i switch views easly like in max alt +W to show 4 views and go to selected or in maya push space move mouse to other viewport and push space again to work on selected viewport ?

  1. Open Blender.

  2. Just above “Timeline”, click on VIEW.

  3. Read everything on the rollout from top to bottom.

  4. Repeat as needed.

That is not what i am looking for. This is not intuitive and you can brake your fingers clicking “ctrl alt Q” and than a number whitch you have to remember.
