How to Make model transparent?

Hi all.

I would like to work with transparent models so i can see the reference image i use. There is any way to do that?

I hace make a transparent material but it is only transparent in proxi mode or when i hide the wires of the model.

In the Outliner window, select the material and right click it to “Edit Material…”

Then reduce the Opacity.

Now if you press TAB, the smooth shaded view will show a transparent model. Then press W, to get wires showing on top of the transparent shaded view.

OR just use W.

If the opacity change doesn’t seem to have worked, make sure you have assigned the material to the model.
