how to let nonlinear deformer follow object

#1

Hi,
i’m new in rigging.
i facing a problem which is when i apply 2 or 3 deformer in a object.
something like when i using bend, the squash is not follow .
or when i using lattice, the bend is not follow.
I know can change it in “all input”, but the final result is not i wan.

Hope any senior can teach me.
Thx.

Take the original geo and duplicate it for each deformer you want to use. Apply one deformer per duplicated geo. Blendshape all the duped geo to the original. Turn on the targets for the blendshape. And you should now be able to use the deformers at once.

I spent a lot of time but still no idea.

Hope u can help me.

You don’t need the squashHandle to follow, only the squash effect, and it’s all a matter of input order. When you create a new deformer you can choose to put it in default mode, front of chain, parallel, etc… and you can also change the input orders afterwards by selecting the mesh, right clicking in the viewport, then Inputs > all inputs… and drag & drop the nodes with the MMB to switch the orders.
