How to learn hard surface modeling?


Hey, I want learn hard surface modeling, quick and effective…but how ?


What kind of hard surface do you want to learn? Like more weapon oriented or characters?
Also what program are you planing on using?

If you wan to use Zbrush I would suggest Michael Pavlovich’s series

For traditional poly modeling I would suggest Alex Senechal’s channel

If you want to use more in Zbrush I can link you a lot of Zbrush summit videos that specifically go over hard surface design


I want to use Maya…and i want modeling car, guns…not characters

If you’re willing to spend money I would recommend his Gumroad tutorial.


That is so cool that you are learning the modeling on your ways but I am interested to be apart of that how to write my assignment in a successful working environment though but you can go for the worthful learning which surely make a good future for you.
