Hi all,
I have a photoshop color image with an alpha channel specifying where that image is transparent.
I wish to ‘paint’ this image onto a ZBrush object polypaint texture while using the blended transparency of my PhotoShop file.
I can already paint with transparency if I set transparent areas of my photoshop RGB channels to pure black, but this gives poor result as on pixels with RGB 0,0,0 are transparent and all the others drawn with full intensity.
For example of what I need, lets say a given pixel is 65% transparent, I would need that pixel to be drawn with 35% intensity while leaving 65% of what was previously behind.
Blended transparencies are a snap in Photoshop but after many hours can’t figure it out in ZBrush… can it be done?
