how to convert EXR to HDR?

Hello,

Been searching in the net for a way to convert an EXR file to a HDRi file without losing any exposure etc values.

I was wondering if photoshop is capable of doing it. Seems like in file_automate its possilbe to merge two EXR into one HDRi but what i dont want to merge anything, just convert.

So after this i tried to just open the EXR, change mode to 32bits and save as to HDRi which happens to save ok but in 3dsmax using vray HDRI with the new fileeverything is so over exposed.

Anyone know how to convert EXR - HDRi without losing EXR properties?

You may want to have a look at Picturenaut:
http://www.hdrlabs.com/picturenaut/features.php

All Exif data in the original images is read - and used during conversion, as far as I know. Also, it will not break the bank: it is free. :slight_smile:
