How to combine multiple FBX file into one

#1

Hello there
I’m stuck on a school project and I did a ton of research on google, and youtube … and finnaly I think I should go to the experts for this.

I have multiple FBX files of the same 3D character and each file contain one different animation of that character : jump.fbx run.fbx walk.fbx dead.fbx IDLE.fbx …

So my problem is I can’t figure out how to combine all those file into one fbx file so I can use it in Unity3D.
In unity I have a 3D character game and I need to replace it with this one.

P.S: In my school computer there is 3 major softwares : Maya 2016 + 3Ds Max 2015 + MotionBuilder 2015 Unity3D 4.5.

If there is a solution for this or a tutorial that I missed I would be much appreciated.

Thank you so much.

You can’t open one FBX file and then import the others into that scene?

When I import the new take the previous take loses it’s animation.

Does it have to be FBX? Why not try alembic?
