How Maya "Create Wrap" in XSI

Hi !

I am on XSI since 1 month and i have for the first time to use syflex that i used in Maya before. My method was to create a low poly mesh in syflex and a high res mesh , not just a subdivided mesh but a mesh with more details in modeling, and in maya i “Wraped” with the deformer “Create Wrap” the high res on the low res and the high def was deformed like by a lattice by the low res poly.

And my problem is that i don’t find a deformer that do the same thing in xsi, the shrinkwrap is not an issue, the deform by surface is for nurbs only …

u could use a syflex pin constraint, if your highrez render geo is a poly,
cloth pins don’t have to be pined to colliders, just other poly shapes,
also if all of the geo(cloth) is pinned no real solving takes place,
it kinda expensive the when the pin is first made ,
but it will act allot like a wrap.

It’s called a cage deformer in XSI.
