I know this has been posted a million times and I’m not really looking for an answer to it, I’m just trying to use up my first 2 posts as soon as I can. So, how long, on average, does it usually take for the board admins to approve the first two posts so that they know you’re not a bot? This is kind of stupid, i’ve been a part of a lot of boards in my time, and never had this rule, but never had any problem with bots. Hmmm… oh well.

How many other sites do you belong to that have more than 370,000 registered users? Considering spammers (not bots, real people who spam) sign up to this site every day and try to post their crap here, manually validating a user’s first few posts is the best way we have of preventing their garbage from appearing on the site.
Validation is generally done within a few hours. Please have more patience in future.

As leigh said, it varies. But here’s a hint.
Its take longer if people use their first post to ask how long their posts take to get validated.
