How exactly do you setup multi-uv tile textures with arnold?

[left]Specifically with arnold.

So essentially my workflow is

  • assign shader
  • assign color texture to shader
  • under UV Tiling Mode, I set it to whatever texture (in this case zbrush) 0 based.
  • all tiles are found correctly, generate preview generates a correct preview in viewport 2.0
  • change render to arnold
  • ipr preview…

Now I feel like it should simply show my render, it does not. Aside from setting uv tiling, simply assigning a texture works fine but with tiling, I feel like im missing something.

I did see an old video of a guy working with multiple displacements but how he assigns textures, maya automatically does it for you with the proper naming convention.

So what in arnold do I need to do to get it rendering? I cant find any documentation on their website on how to get a multi uv tile render going other than tokens.
