How does the 3D Modeling pipeline look for hard surface stuff in the films and games industry?


Heya peeps,

I’m just starting out in my journey to become a 3d artist. Being on a self-learn path, I wanted to understand from the pros (or anyone with the knowledge) of this industry about their professional and personal workflows (and the reason for it) as I begin crafting my own.

I hope your insights would help me and others alike to make their workflows even better so that we don’t get bogged down by the technical stuff and be more creative and enjoy our work even more !

P.s: I wanna specifically work in hard surface modeling and was always curious about incorporating sculpting in the workflow. Do you think its high time I should fire up zbrush ?
