How do you rename/delete Viewports & Viewport-groups?

Yeah, I would like to know the answer to this one too. The only way I found was by manually editing the config file, which is a bit of a pain. Could really do with a proper viewport manager panel.

save layout as - perhaps? :slight_smile:

also try clicking or right clicking on those various buttons and things on top of each viewport,there maybe something there too…you never know

As far as I know, there isn’t a way to rename while in modo. As for delete viewports. Right click the upperleft corner (looks like a little dot) of each viewport. That’ll give you a menu and you can delete from there.

I don’t have access to modo right now so I can’t verify. My license expired and have to renew my trial.

There’s a little app called modoconfig which is available at vertex monkey. Does this job nicely…

Great tip! However the file (modoConfig.zip) at VertexMonkey seems to be corrupted.
Anywhere else I can download it? Or could you mail it to me?
