How do you remove segments in LW?

I’ve been staring at my model for like an hour now, trying to get rid of a segment I added with knife tool, but one that I dont want anymore.

I tried deleting the points and then making polys. I tried merging points.

Both have resulted in 4+ polys, and subdiv doesnt like them. I need to keep them 3 or 4 vertices.

Any help is appreciated,

It’s pretty hard to tell what the exact problem is from just a written description. If you could post a screen cap, that’d be helpful.

Might need to merge some points in there?
