So I find I keep needing to slide two edge loops that are right next to each other but I don’t want them separating in their distance from each other but slide them along an edge at the same time. How can I do this using Maya?
How do I slide too edge loops at the same time.

You tried the slide edge tool, but was unhappy that as you got closer to another edge with one of your loops, it started to go slower than the other, right? If so, you can use it without snapping, so in theory it should give you decent slides.
If this does not work, you can tweak the move tool by double clicking its settings, to see if you can just move the edges to the desired location (like use normal, object or whatnot orientation).

That was exatly what was happening. That unsnapping you mentioned works exactly how I wanted it to work so I’ll just do that next time. Thanks for the help.
