How can we create butterflies in a cage?

Hello =)
as in the title, do you have an idea how to make this simple animation (butterflies in a cage with random animations and collision)? I’m sorry, but I’m not an PF expert… I just know that PF exist and the basic rules of particles =) I don’t need a complete tutorial (if exist, much better :slight_smile: ) , but only a few guidelines. Thanks so much!!

LOL “simple animation” are not words I would use to describe that :smiley: Butterflies are pretty erratic when the fly. So to get the motion, particle direction, particle speed may be a bit of work let alone collisions and a believable recovery after a collision.

If they were crawling around on a surface that would be much easier.

I may be wrong but I do not see a simple and accurate way to do it. I think it would be quite a bit of work for an experienced particle artist. You might be better off trying to find someone.
