And now I’m off to eat curry with friends. It’s a good day.

I got two pieces of really great news this morning, neither of which is CG related but in the end it will all lead to some much needed time and peace to draw. My husband and I are in the process of buying a house in another part of the country (that’s incidentally out in the country… we’ll have 5 acres ourselves, and we’ll be surrounded by farmland for miles). Our realtor called us a short bit ago. After a month-long wait, the well and septic inspections were finally performed by the county and everything checked out okay. So we can proceed with closing, which will happen in about ten days!!! We’re planning to move into the home at the end of September, so while I’m largely busy packing and throwing out a ton of crap, eventually we’ll be settled there and I’ll have more time for drawing again.

The absolutely fantastic cherry on top of all that is… my husband found out this morning that he can keep his job and work remotely from home, 2000 miles away from the main campus in Sunnyvale, CA (where he currently works). We were going whether that was the case or not, but his getting to keep his current job is a happy bonus.

If I knew how to do a cartwheel, I’d totally be doing them up and down my street right now. :applause:
