hey andy… It’s a long time since I posted on CGTalk, but i thought this was just splendid, so thought i’d drop a comment.

She’s a hunny! My favourite part of this is the sharp angles and shapes around the hips and tummy, especially the red light catching by her belly button. Lovely…

Nice atmosphere- Different than your usual stuff but good!

I love the colors on her skin: the cool colors reflected near the window, and the warm, sexy reds reflected from something like a fire in the room. It would make a beautiful pin-up CG girls calendar contribution.

Andy, I’ve been following your work since I signed up with CGSociety. This is one of my favorites so far, specifically because of your lighting and the render. I was pretty shocked to hear that it was just the scanline renderer, because it’s beautiful. It has a soft, painterly like look to it, practically, and that’s just swell.

I’d be plenty interested to hear about or see the lighting rig you used here, since you were able to squeeze such good looks out of it. Oh yeah, and your textures.
