HMC #31:Pixar Trubute: Diorama - House of Carl Fredrickson

So I decided to do the house in Up, always wanted to model a cartoony warhammer style (In this case, Pixar style) house and this challenge gives me a great chance to do so


So my plan is to model and texture the house, as well as Carl sitting on the porch(hopefully theres time!)

Still not decided if I should model the house on the ground or in the air with the balloons…
What do you think?

That house has so much character alone, great choice. I’d definitely model it in the air with balloons. When that’s done you could suspend it over a mesa or some other geological formation.

I never would have thought of that as a character until now, thanks for that lol

if you don’t want to sculpt the background buildings… ya! do it in the air otherwise the house alone sorounded by skycrawlers lose it sensation
