I’m going to give this challenge a try. I’m planning on doing the silver level (10 models for the month) in LightWave 9.6.
First model is Etch-A-Sketch in the Toys category.
Time spent: 2 hr. 35 min. (modeling, not including rendering and setup).
Note: I used a LW plugin called “Polygon Coloring” for the wireframe renders. For some reason, not all of the lines are showing up on the Etch-A-Sketch.
The second model is Hungry Hungry Hippos from the Toys Category.
Time spent modeling: 6 hr. 56 min. (over two days)
The Hungry Hippos look great, but all your images are sooooo tiny, can’t we have a closer look at all their glory?

By the way, the small images are clickable thumbnails - the full-size pics are on Photobucket. I didn’t know what size images I should post here. Should I post big images of just the beauty renders, or do you want to see big images of the wireframes too?
Here’s the Lincoln Log house from the Classic Toys category.
This took 2 hours and 30 minutes. I thought this would be an easy model, but it turns out that building with Lincoln Logs in 3D is harder than using the real thing! (Where are those virtual reality gloves when we need them?)

Finally got model #4 done - Mr. Potato Head from the Classic Toys category.
The shoes and the teeth were the hardest parts to model.

Finally got time to work on another model. I just got done building a new PC and had some unforeseen problems which took over a week to figure out (turns out it was a bad stick of RAM). I may not be able to finish all 10 models in time, but I’ll give it a shot…
