If you want more reference for the head and arms, search for “palermo crypts” in Flickr. Those mummies have been used as refs in numerous films - in the “Making of Hellboy” you can see a photo book of them on a designer’s desk. Maybe the same book is on a shelf at Weta. Don’t search before dinner tho’ :o)

So I had some time last night/morning and today. I slapped in my lotr albums to get in the “spirit” and what a joy it is to model something from the movie. The skull is finaly finished and I’ve started the face and crown. After this I’ll try do the zombie part. Though that was more weta digital work than workshop hmmm.
