I have been away from CGSociety and 3D for a while now. I am always so amazed by the people who frequent this site and thier amazing talent. I just signed up for my first Workshop with CGSociety and it has me excited again.
It appears I am a little late with the Challenge and this is my first challenge. But I figure why not what a great way to get me back in the thick of it and enhance my skills. I really enjoyed the film the last samurai and found out that weta did alot of wepons for the movie. In addition it appears that Peter Lyon created the Hero swords for the movie as well. I think I am going to take on the Hero sword or the amazing Sword Aerial seen in the link below.
I have more research hopefully I can get some done tomorrow.
