I love it! this and young christian bale are my two favorites for this contest. there are many elements of these images that remind me very much of norman rockwell’s depiction of kids…heck, the real shia looks like a rockwell kid too heheh.

You were a lot better at capturing your model’s likeness than I was. Make sure to post your final set in the finals thread, I’d hate to see you miss out.

Brett, your model, the expressions , the rendering… are so professionally done i am extremely impressed…

You even went above and beyond and made hair for Shia…

I showed the team at Plastic Wax and they were like “Its Transformers guy!!! shia !!” ahahahaa

Amazing work and presented so well… congrats on such a good, kick-ass job!!

Great work here and congrats for getting them all done in time! I’m sure this was a ton of work and not an easy feat at that! :buttrock:

The only thing that really nags at me is something about the neck. Looks like the skinning is somewhat off and its loosing some volume in a weird way or something like that. Not that its particularly important for this challenge, it just struck me as a bit off.
