HMC #20: Expressions - Self Portrait

Update.
Three expressions. Well the first one is the base model, neutral (somewhat…but you could say it’s sad too).
The ‘sad’ expression is very subtle but the feeling is there I think. If you don’t think so, tell me why! :slight_smile:
Next step is to create the gums, teeth.

I really like this work man, and you’ve got the likeness in.

One thing that seems a bit different to your reference photos is your muzzle area. In reality you seem to have more pronounced nodes at the side of your mouth, so there’s more movement going on around that area, which is quite smooth/flat on your model.

Doesn’t really seem to affect the likeness though, very nice sculpt.

Update.
Did not like the ‘angry’ expression so I ‘upgraded’ it. There are others near finish…I just need to find some motivation to sculpt the gums and teeth so they can be finalized.

A new expression. I’ll rework some of the previous ones…I’m not satisfied with them.

Update. I don’t drink alcohol…but I think this is how I would look like sometimes if I would drink too much… :slight_smile:

The old one wasn’t horrible but 2.0 is indeed better. I also really like the serious and drunk expressions, subtle but perfect. Nice work.
