Brett, thank you a lot, and about the nouse i think you´re right, so i changed it:thumbsup: , i hope its better now. Kruger´s work is AMAZING, i knew about him but i chequed his work again, realy inspiring stuff.

motorpsycho, :thumbsup: thank you very much for your words, to be honest i was a little tyred about this, and your post just gived me the motivation i was needing, so thank you very much, realy.

I decided to make him look like in the movie “The Witches of Eastwick”.

This is a expression test, but i have to finish the model yet, things like the ears, and teeth for example.

Looks great, I actually think the ears and teeth look fine at the moment. I would say maybe try deforming the teeth with the smile since its a caricature. That might work it might not but i know they do in the drawings. otherwise really digging this.

I haven’t checked this thread out in a while, apparently. I’m glad you decided to go with the caricature. It looks great. I love the hair, too. Great touch.

Hi Jmart,

First time, i check your thread.

I like the eyebrows, blend of forehead & hair which gives more impact of caricature.
Awaiting for ear model to be complete.

Thank you very much for the comments, and sorry about the late response, i was waiting for having an update before posting.

Here i have 5 expressions to show, i have almost all done but there are some things to pulish and render. i started the expressions realy late, and with some things like teeth and ears unfinished, so with the dateline closer i choosed to use the free time in working the expressions and model…leaving the thread a little dead:sad: …so sorry about that.

I gotta be honest and tell you the red shader is not really working, though I know what you were going for. “Heeerrreeee’s Johny!” though, is AWESOME!!

Very nice work, good to see you’re gonna get this one done. I think flirty is my favourite, it really captures his character nicely. I like rage a lot too, it’s nice that you can push it so far with this being a caricature.

RageOfAges: thanks for the critic and the nice words. I think you’re right about the red shader, could be better. About “Heeerrreeee’s Johny!” expression i realy enjoyed making that one, it was very helpfull to have a photogram for reference in that particular case.

Lord McGoat: thank you ! And yes, this being a caricature i can (and i would say must) push it more, wich imo is great for this challenge.

polymaster: you’re right, i didn’t realize before… i just open his mouth a lot to make clear and accentuated all that f* rage.

d8D: First of all, your mei is incredible! i love that little girl you made and the expressions are perfect, they have soul, she has soul…realy, i love what you made for this challenge. In fact i didn’t knew about that movie (but i saw one from the director and was a great movie)so in the next days/weeks i’ll probably see it.

seconly thanks a lot for posting and for your words…motivating. About the comment of one of your favorites, you mean “The Shining” or “The witches of Eastwick”?

Incredible work! Love to see more of this style. The “at a hotel with family” caption was awesome. I liked the progression of this forum. Seemed like the back of the head was giving you a run for your money. It all came around and turned out great. Love the expressions.

Lookin good! Yours is certainly the most playful of all the entries. I guess that comes with the caricature territory :). Well done, lets see, only 12 or 13 entries now. Wonder if there will be an influx tomorrow at 11:55 PM
